Speakerbox is looking for writers! Everyone in Segundo, Tercero, or Quarto Medio at Colegio San Marcos is encouraged to join, and select younger students are also welcome (but they must speak and understand intermediate-level English).
To join the Speakerbox team, please email your first post to meeganbrooks@gmail.com. Ms. Meegan will then add you to the website. Posts do not need to be long! For example, you can find cool stories at thecoolhunter.net, amusingplanet.com and many other blogs, and then re-post them to Speakerbox. Entries can be as short as a couple of sentences, but also much longer (some blog posts are pages long).
Speakerbox will meet after school in the computer lab, from 4-5 pm on Tuesdays. THE FIRST MEETING WILL BE THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 2 (this will be the only Thursday meeting). These meetings are not required, but Ms. Meegan will be available to edit your posts and help you find story ideas.
